Not all religious fanatics come from the Middle East.

America has its own homegrown variety.

The Story:

Religion clashes with the U.S. Constitution in a small Georgia town when

local ministers campaign to ban Adventures of Huckleberry Finn from the high-school classroom.

Only one person stands up to them: English teacher Anne Brady.

She opposes censorship and believes in the separation of Church and State.

But the whole town sides with the preachers against her.

Soon she is a social outcast fighting to save her job and reputation.

Can she possibly win?

Court is now in session.

You be the judge.

You be the jury.

 The Latest Amazon Review:

The one and only Robert Lamb does it again! A Majority of One is a great read!

(Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase, Amazon)

You won't find any answers in Robert Lamb's excellent book, A Majority of One, and that's the point. This is a book that demands your attention and begs you to question preconceived notions. If you've ever lived in a small Southern town, you will recognize the people in this book – both the heroes and villains. I love it when a plot surprises me, and I absolutely wasn't expecting the book's climactic moment, which I won't give away here. I will say that Lamb takes no easy roads, but every step -- or page -- of this journey is a delight." ~Mark Stevens, author, Clinchfield No. 1: Tennessee's Legendary Steam Engine
